ECU employees who have questions about possible or confirmed COVID-19 exposure should contact their primary care provider or email employeehealthcovid@ecu.edu. Employees seeking a religious exemption should submit a request with the Office of Equity and Diversity.

The primary mission of the Office of Prospective Health is to provide quality health and safety services to all employees of East Carolina University. We work in collaboration with the Office of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) to ensure the safety of all ECU personnel. Our goal is to ensure that ECU is in compliance with state and federal regulations related to these activities:

As of September 1, 2015, the Office of Prospective Health will no longer provide lab work or immunizations without a scheduled appointment. Blood exposures and Workers Compensation injuries will continue to be seen on an emergency basis. We encourage all affected employees to participate during your department’s annual updates.
